Arts, Audio Visual Technology & Communication (AAVTC)

This program gives students a comprehensive understanding of arts, audio video technology, and communications systems. Students explore the full spectrum of media production, from operating cameras and editing audio and video to directing, producing, and publishing content, while developing the knowledge, skills, and educational awareness needed to pursue the diverse and multifaceted career opportunities available. Whether a student's interests lie in becoming an audio/video technician, broadcast director, producer, or digital interface designer, this program builds the creative aptitude, technical proficiency, and communication skills required for success across the industry.

Graphic Design & Interactive Media

This program immerses students in the world of graphic design and illustration, spanning all aspects of the advertising and visual communications industries. Students build a strong foundation in the fundamental elements and principles of visual art and design, developing both the technical knowledge and skill proficiency needed for success in the Arts, Audio Video Technology, and Communications career cluster. Through lab-based experiences and career preparation opportunities, students gain a well-rounded, industry-focused understanding that prepares them for the diverse and evolving landscape of visual communications.
