Arts and Language

Foreign Language
We offer Spanish I through IV to help students expand their communication skills and deepen their understanding of the world around them. Students progressively develop proficiency in speaking, reading, writing, and listening — building from foundational vocabulary and grammar to more advanced language skills. Cultural immersion is woven throughout every level, connecting students to the Hispanic world through art, food, music, and drama. These programs go beyond language learning, fostering empathy, cultural awareness, and a broader global perspective.

Visual Art
This course develops students' creative thinking and technical art skills through a broad range of materials and techniques, including color theory, perspective drawing, painting, ceramics, and printmaking. Art history is woven later on throughout the curriculum to provide context and inspiration for studio projects. Students maintain both a sketchbook and a portfolio to track and showcase their growth over time.

Choir
Our choir program offers two levels to meet students at every stage of their musical journey. Choir builds a strong vocal foundation in technique, music reading, and harmony across a variety of styles and performance settings. Advanced Choir is an ensemble for select students ready to perform at an accelerated level, exploring diverse musical styles and cultures while competing in regional and state competitions, including TMEA, and performing both on and off campus throughout the year.

Musical Theatre
Our theatre programs offer students the opportunity to deepen their craft both on stage and behind the scenes. Advanced Theatre challenges students to refine their acting techniques, character development, movement, and vocal projection through collaborative performance experiences. Varsity Musical Theatre is an audition-based course for students who have demonstrated exceptional talent, combining rigorous training in acting, vocal performance, and choreography with an exploration of the professional side of the industry including audition techniques, industry expectations, and career pathways.
Dance Classes and Company
Our dance program offers two exciting pathways for students of every age and experience level. All students have the opportunity to explore movement and expression through dance classes offered as part of the regular school day. For students looking to take their passion further, our Dance Company is an audition-based, after-school performance track where dedicated dancers refine their skills and perform at a higher level. Whether your child is dancing for the first time or pursuing a deeper commitment to the art form, our program provides a supportive and inspiring environment to grow.
