Titan Academy students brought laughter, music, and heart to the stage with their production of Sister Act – The Musical on March 1 and 2 at TBP’s West Campus.
The show, based on the hit 1992 film, followed aspiring singer Deloris Van Cartier as she found an unexpected home in a convent after witnessing a crime. With lively musical numbers and heartfelt moments, the performance captivated audiences and showcased the students’ dedication and talent.
Titan Academy’s dance teams delivered standout performances at two major competitions, earning multiple first-place finishes and grand champion titles.
The teams competed at the Crowd Pleasers Dance Competition on Feb. 1 at Burleson High School and the Danceline USA Competition on Feb. 8 at Sherman High School. Across both events, the varsity, JV, and middle school teams secured high-ranking placements in solo and team categories, with varsity’s production routine Hadestown recognized among the top three highest-scoring routines of the competition.
Graphic Design Practicum students at Titan Academy showcased their creativity and compassion with a heartwarming community service project.
The students designed and produced vibrant coloring books inspired by the animals of South America, incorporating their graphic design skills into every detail, from concept to layout. To bring the books to life, they partnered with creative writing students, who contributed imaginative short stories to accompany the designs.
The Titan Academy Cross Country team capped off a stellar season with a victory at the Texas Charter School Academic & Athletic League (TCSAAL) State Championship, followed by their annual awards banquet on Thursday, October 17. The event, held at the West Campus auditorium, honored the team's achievements and highlighted standout individual performances.
TBP is proud to recognize the outstanding achievements of our Titan Academy students who auditioned for the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Large School All-State Choir competition. Special accolades go to Clair Geonzon and Mickey Millsap, who advanced to the next round. Mickey, who was previously named Small School All-State Choir Bass for 2023-24, continues to represent TBP with distinction alongside Clair.
